Uber
Overview
Executer, crafted by the Andela Team for the Uber Developer Hackathon Lagos, transforms ride scheduling by ingeniously merging Google Calendar with Uber's Request endpoint.
Once you sync your Google Calendar to the app, Executer figures out where you are and where you need to be at any point in time. A couple of hours before your next event starts, Executer will send you a notification asking if you still want to continue with the Uber request to your next appointment. If your plans have changed, Executer will cancel your Uber request, but if not, you can expect your Uber to be on its way.

Approach
Executer was born from the idea of automating ride scheduling based on a user's Google Calendar events, allowing for a seamless and proactive approach to transportation. By harnessing Uber's Request endpoint, the project autonomously identified scheduled events and orchestrated Uber rides accordingly, ushering in a new era of effortless ride planning.

Outcome
Executer's successful delivery at the hackathon not only secured victory but also birthed a novel approach to ride scheduling. The project's innovative integration of Google Calendar with Uber's API showcased the potential for user-centric design and technology-driven solutions. Executer, like a newborn idea, holds the promise of evolving transportation experiences, with its victory marking the beginning of a journey toward more advanced and intuitive ride scheduling solutions.
